Sophia Ruth Wells
Happy birthday, Sophia Ruth! You're such a pretty little girl already, and I'm so proud of you. You're the first girl among your generation of the family, so you get to lead the way and teach all your little girl cousins what to do and what not to do, and I know you'll do a fantastic job, just like your mother did. You're one of the greatest blessings in my life by far, and I love you very much, little Sophie.
Love,
Aunt Addie

Beowulf Arthur
The night Henry Wesley Wells was born, I ran nearly four blocks to get to him. When I got there, and looked at my first born nephew, I thought he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I still hold to that. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to hold Henry the night he was born, though. Nearly two years has gone by, and he's quite the little man. I love him a million times more now, but he isn't a baby anymore.
But now I've a new nephew. Beowulf Arthur. I didn't get to hold him the night he was born, but three days old and he's every bit as amazing the first night. He is an incredible work from the hand of God, and I'm amazed to look at him. He truly is beautiful. Just like his cousin.

Anberlin 2010
So, Anberlin is my favorite band ever. As much as I love Coldplay and Colbie Caillat (and I do love them a lot), Anberlin still wins out. And last night I got to see them LIVE! That rocked, not enough evers. Between the mosh pit, and drunken UI students having to be escorted out, and the rest of us just in general rocking out and singing along, it was pretty unforgettable.

Happy birthday!
My oldest younger brother (figure that one out if you can) turned seventeen today.
(He's not excited or anything)
To the man who plays blues at 10:00 at night...
the man who makes a rockin' bagel breakfast...
the man who drives stick shift like no one else (seriously) ...
the man who builds fences like something that builds fences like the wind...
the man who brings the mikes...
the man who knows exactly what to do when I yell "combat boots!"...
the man who drove a tractor before he could drive a car...
the man who works harder than so many others his age...
the man who watches looney tunes with me after midnight...
and probably the only person who gets every single reference, joke, and quote I make...
...I wish a very happy birthday.
I love you, Robert!

Recording audio books
This is me recording audio books.
Its an awesome job, and I love it. I've also found that the stories come out sounding way more interesting if I read it as if I'm actually telling the story to a live audience, which mean I gesture and use facial expressions. It can get interesting.
